Artist, curator and consultant, Yasmin holds an MA in Art Business from Sotheby’s Institute, London (2006) and a BA in Studio Art/ Art History, Concordia University, Montreal (2004). Yasmin currently works as an independent consultant, and manages the private collection of H.E. Shaikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa. Previously manager of ‘The Waterline’, an art space within the Bahrain Financial Harbour, Yasmin also held the position of Assistant Manager of Cuadro Fine Art Gallery, DIFC, Dubai, UAE. A combination of her extensive exhibition and event management experience, awareness of current market trends and a keen eye for detail have enabled her to ensure exceptional quality and the highest standard with every endeavour, regularly surpassing her clients expectations. Her experience has enabled her to broaden her knowledge of the international art market, develop her curatorial ability and hone her skills in gallery management, art marketing, PR and project/ event management. Owing to this, she has developed lasting relationships with an international network of emerging and established artists; as well as collectors, dealers and curators. Her background as an American Palestinian, born in Greece and raised in Bahrain has also granted her with a unique cultural disposition.
Yasmin is also an avid writer, certified yoga teacher, dedicated artist and practicing musician.
